Hello! I'm an illustrator, surface designer, and hand letterer who likes to draw flowers, maps, objects, and places.
I grew up in beautiful Connecticut and now live in Indianapolis (by way of New York City, and about a million other places). Much of my work is about home and the small forests I ventured into as a kid.
I work with clients big and small on projects ranging from spot illustrations to surface designs to murals. My work can be found on packaging, home decor, wallpaper, in books, advertising, newspapers, and magazines.
I have two MFAs from the University of Arizona, one in visual communication (illustration) and one in Creative Writing (nonfiction). My BFA is in Studio Art (illustration) from the University of Connecticut and I've been in residence at Yaddo and MacDowell.
In addition to commercial projects, I'm working on a graphic memoir about childhood and place, excerpts of which have appeared in Ecotone, Black Warrior Review, Copper Nickel, South Loop Review, and elsewhere.
